Looking for a person who has a passion for young people, as they will be responsible for overseeing 6th-12th grade and our young adults. Someone who wants to pour into their lives by teaching them God’s Word, supporting their everyday lives, and by connecting with them in relationships. We have 3 other staff that work alongside each other that work together to support each other in their ministries. This individual is also responsible for recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteers within the student ministry and oversees the curriculum and teaching materials. We are a restoration church out of the Stone/Campbell movement. We are located 15 miles north of Springfield, IL right off of interstate 55 at exit 109.
All our schools just completed major renovations and additions to their buildings, including a huge indoor sports complex. There is also a college ministry, CSF that works with students at Lincoln Land Community College and UIS in Springfield.
In general, our primary goals would be to:
· Build relationships by engaging in students’ lives.
· Encourage students to build relationships with God and help develop a strong spiritual foundation.
· Share Jesus with our community.
