Our Church
Westminster is a community made up of about 275 families and an attendance of about 450 to 550 people. Located on the eastside of Spartanburg, South Carolina, we are connected to many local schools, business, and organizations. In keeping with Jesus’ command to “love God, love others, and serve others” our mission is simply to celebrate Jesus Christ and invite everyone into a loving relationship with him. Most of our families have come to Westminster from an array of faith backgrounds. So while Presbyterianism describes our tradition, our main thrust is on the clear communication of the Gospel. Our partnership with Young Life is based on this very principle. That’s why we endeavor to be present with students and earn more opportunities to explore their world while providing encouragement to discover everything that God has promised in Jesus.
