Summary
The Discipleship & Family Ministry Pastor has a primary responsibility to shepherd the congregation toward a love for God and obedience to His Word. This is a full-time position, reports to the Lead Pastor, and along with other staff and ministry leaders, works to fulfill Springbrook’s God given vision and mission.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience serving in pastoral and small group ministry
- A passionate worshiper of Jesus Christ, with a heart for discipleship and ability to lead others
- Ability to grow ministry areas of responsibility by recruiting, mentoring, training, shepherding, and developing team members
- Self-starter eager to create and develop goals and strategies for areas of responsibility
- A covenant member in good standing of Springbrook Community Church
Responsibilities
Working with various staff and ministry leaders, this position is responsible to provide discipleship, leadership and systems support for the following ministries:
- Jr & Sr High School and young adult ministry
- Adult small groups and ministries
- Discipleship pathway workshops
- Evangelism and outreach initiatives
- Preaching team member

- Is a person who loves God, their family, the local church, and all people as evidenced through their daily life and in accordance with Scripture
- Has a heart for the community surrounding Springbrook Community Church

- Possesses a high level of integrity, guided by a sound set of ethical principles
