Church Summary:
River Hills is an elder-led, intentionally inter-generational, EFCA-affiliated fellowship with a reformed and baptistic perspective. Our Sunday service attendance is about 150, which includes many children. The atmosphere is casual and relational. Our worship is Christ-centered, with hymns and contemporary songs, the public reading of Scripture, and expository preaching from a biblical theological hermeneutic.
Position Summary:
The purpose of the Senior Pastor at River Hills Community Church (RHCC) is to so teach, counsel, and live the Word of God (the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ) that the whole church is brought to maturity in Christ. As a member of the Elder Board, the senior pastor will serve with the other elected elders, providing oversight to the vision, mission, strategy, goals, plans, programs, and personnel of the whole church.
Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Pastor who has demonstrated abilities in teaching/preaching, leadership and discipleship/training, and a heart for shepherding. Personal qualifications include a passion to know Christ and imitate Him, strong interpersonal skills, a zeal to learn, and a teachable spirit. We are looking for man who is a team player and visionary leader, providing direction to his pastoral staff and lay leaders and equipping members through teaching Scripture and counseling.
