Zion is the English Ministry of Promise and Fulfillment Community Church (Korean Presbyterian). The Ministry Assistant (Worship and Young Adults) is a crucial part-time position within our vibrant and growing church community. This role is designed to provide essential support to the pastor of English and youth ministry, specifically focusing on young adult ministry, worship, and Sunday service. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of the church’s mission and vision, ensuring a dynamic and inclusive environment for worship and engagement.

Young Adult Ministry:
Collaborate with the lead pastor to plan and execute young adult ministry programs and events.
Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for young adults within the church community.
Develop and maintain relationships with young adults, offering pastoral support as needed.

Worship Support:
Assist in planning and coordinating worship services, including selecting music, coordinating volunteers, and organizing logistics.
Collaborate with the worship team to enhance the worship experience and maintain a spirit of reverence.
Provide administrative support for worship-related activities.
Desirable: Play with the worship team.

Sunday Service Assistance:
Support the lead pastor in organizing and executing Sunday services, ensuring a smooth and impactful worship experience.
Coordinate with various ministry teams to ensure seamless integration of activities during the service.
Assist in creating a welcoming environment for both regular attendees and newcomers.

Mission and Vision Implementation:
Work closely with the lead pastor to understand and embody the church’s mission and vision.
Assist in developing and implementing strategies to align ministry activities with the overall goals of the church.

Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate records related to young adult ministry and worship activities.
Assist in communication efforts, including newsletters, social media updates, and announcements.
Handle general administrative tasks to support the pastor and ensure the smooth operation of ministry activities.

A passion for ministry and a strong commitment to the Christian faith.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Previous experience in youth or young adult ministry is preferred.
Musical proficiency and familiarity with worship coordination are advantageous.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic nature of ministry work.
