Vision for this Role

Our priority for the person who takes this position is to settle in and make friends. If you have a family, you’ll find many open and warm families that are down-to-earth and highly relational. We want you to find encouragement from a healthy leadership culture and bring new ideas to help us implement a new discipleship structure this fall. Becoming one of us and growing as a disciple is our highest priority for you because we think it’s essential to practicing the way of Jesus and growing his kingdom.

When it comes to worship, we would like our gatherings to continue to provide engaging music with a more thoughtful contemplation through timeless liturgy. We have consistent musicians but we would like to see more new talent surfaced and developed.

Our volunteer youth leadership has provided stable, outstanding leadership for years. We currently have 25 youth in our middle and high school ministry. That said, we are primed for growth with fifteen middle schoolers and a dozen rising 4th and 5th-grade students. We are investing in developing a more robust incarnational ministry over the next few years. Towards that end, this fall we would like to see more time spent going to where youth are and increasing our meeting frequency. Our prayer is that it will yield many grace-empowered kids who love others and serve him for the rest of their lives.
