Lakeview Covenant Church is searching for a Full-Time Pastor to disciple and shepherd our CATALYST ministry (e.g. about 35-40 single young adults) within the English Congregation. Located in Northbrook IL, we invite you to prayerfully consider and apply.
*Responsibilities
• Pastoral Care (visitations, counseling, and mentoring of members)
• Preaching (rotational basis alongside other pastors in the English Congregation)
• Spiritual Growth (plan events, weekly meetings, fellowship times)
• Discipleship (train, teach, equip)
*General Expectations
• Be missional within the context of Lakeview Church
• Be flexible in serving together alongside the other life stage ministries
• Meet with the Lead Pastor bi-weekly for prayer and accountability
• Join weekly staff meetings (alternating between Joint and EC)
• Serve alongside the KC (Korean Congregation) for any joint worship services, as needed
*Qualifications
• Ordained (or presently seeking) in a denomination with a Reformed background
• M.Div. (or presently pursuing) from an accredited theological seminary
• Fluent in English
• The individual should be married and be capable of helping our single young adults navigate through issues of spiritual growth, sexual purity, relationships, and marriage
*Compensation
• Between $50,000 to $60,000 (based on qualifications and/or experience)

Lakeview Covenant Church is affiliated with the ECC (Evangelical Covenant Church). We are an inter-generational church with two congregations (English and Korean). Both congregations pursue the same vision of “Transformation NOW” and we do meet often with the Korean congregation staff members to promote unity, pray, and encourage one another in Christ.
