Training and Qualification:
. Graduated from accredited Theological Seminary
. Passion for the losses and church growth mindset
Knowledge, Skills, and Character:
. Comprehensive knowledge of the Bible
. Expository teaching, preaching with clarity and applicable to daily life
. Possess strong integrity exemplary of spiritual leader of the church
. Role model as described in 1 Timothy 3 to his own family
. Servant leader as described in 1 Peter 5:1-4
. Hard working to ensure all the different ministries of the church function effectively
. Ability to communicate to influence people
Responsibilities:
Preaching and teaching: The Pastor will be the primary preacher for Sunday worship services.
Spend significant time in prayer and Bible study to prepare for expository teaching.
Provide leadership and vision for the church. Direct plans for ministries, church growth and expansion.
Promote in evangelism efforts through preaching and giving invitations during worship services, revival or other special services.
Visitation to hospital, homes, counseling ministry for marriages, family issues and career seekings.
Officiate at weddings, funerals, baptisms, infant dedications, etc.
Emphasize educations, personal growth and professional pursuit.
Disciple leaders and encourage young people to go into full time ministry.
The Pastor should be in the office and be accessible a sufficient amount of times to meet with members, and prospects.
Ensure church facilities are functioning properly.
Develop and share vision, goal for the church to show spiritual growth and membership growth.
Attend monthly church board meeting as chairman of the board to support, encourage, guide, and cast visions for the church.
Act as moderator for church business meetings, and to ensure to follow the bylaws.
Cooperate with the district and keep the church informed of developments within the denomination.
Evaluation and compensation:
This is a full-time position. The Pastor will file monthly reports to the boards on the ministry accomplishments and activities. The personnel team will conduct annually a performance evaluation and review of the compensation package to adjust according to the cost of living and the incomes of the church.
