Grace Community Church is seeking the pastor who is being led by God to be the shepherd & teacher of our congregation in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Potential candidates will possess the relational, doctrinal, leadership and administrative gifts to equip our community of authentic believers to pursue making disciples in our community and throughout the nations.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Pastor will be a passionate follower of Christ and a loving shepherd of his flock. He will be doctrinally sound in God’s Word and gifted in its teaching to the congregation. Through his leadership in all areas of the church ministry he will disciple and mentor the church body to:
● Love Christ, grow in their relationship with Him and make Him the center of their lives,
● Recognize for themselves and stand upon sound biblical doctrine,
● Grow their faith by trusting in the promises of God’s Word,
● Share their faith with others in Christ’s love and truth,
● Discover their giftings and utilize them to honor God and bless others.

CONGREGATION
● Approximately 120 people attend Sunday Worship, with 5-7 Grace Groups (small groups) and multiple ministries getting together throughout the week.
● We are blessed with a sizable campus to grow into and engage our community with.
● We are part of the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA), an association of autonomous churches (1,600 congregations) united around a Statement of Faith.
● Our church in Kona, Hawaii adopts the same Statement of Faith as the EFCA which guides our Mission and Vision to ‘go therefore and make disciples…’
