The Chinese Bible Church in Farmington Hills, Michigan, a northwest suburb of Detroit, is seeking a Cantonese Pastor to serve in a staff position and work with the pastors, elders and deacons of the church to equip God’s people.
- Minister to Cantonese Congregation
- Co-labor in serving as a member of pastor-elder team in oversight of Cantonese Congregation and to the greater Chinese Bible Church (CBC) body
- Oversee the Cantonese worship
- Preach in Cantonese service
- Administer church ordinances (i.e. baptism and communion)
- Assist in teaching Cantonese Sunday School
- Train, develop and mentor coworkers
- Engage in discipling individual believers
- Engage in shepherding & caring (counseling, visitation etc.)
- Engage in personal evangelism
- Serve on Elder Board, Executive Board and committees as needed
- Serve as overseer for Cantonese speaking fellowship group(s) as needed
- Perform administrative duties as needed
- Represent CBC in the community serving in liaison team
