Our College Outreach Pastor is moving overseas to plant a church and we’re looking to hire for his position. We’d like to have someone in place by July 2024 in order to afford the new pastor an overlap with our outgoing college pastor.
Our church is 1.5 miles from San Diego State University, and we consider that school our mission field. Primary duties will be evangelism, discipleship, and oversight of the college ministry. Our ministry is 100% church connected (as opposed to parachurch) and this minister should have a heart to connect college students with the local church. Additionally, there will be opportunities for preaching in the church, teaching classes, and ongoing training.
Qualifications:
-Elder qualified
-MDiv preferred
-Flexible, adaptable, and discerning
-Heart for evangelism
-Theologically minded
-Teaches with careful precision
Parsonage included, pay depends on family size etc.
