Cultivating Ministry
Design, plan, and execute age-appropriate high school and middle school ministries that cultivate communities of grace and truth.
Develop and implement a yearly plan of middle school and high school events including camps, mission trips and community outreach activities.
Leadership Development
Identify, recruit, and equip volunteer leaders who can multiply the impact of the student ministry.
Train and empower student leaders to serve Crossroads and the community.
Strategic Partnerships
Provide regular communication, counsel and training to parents of students.
Cultivate partnerships and connections in the local community by:
- Establishing a regular presence on school campuses
- Connecting with students regularly outside of events and weekly ministries. This will include some nights and weekends.
The candidate will be responsible for 6th-12th grade and also work closely with our Kid’s Ministry Directors in order to create a discipleship pathway for K-12. This job is technically part-time, but strategically part-time. We are asking the student pastor to obtain a job at the local school. This is a strategic ask, not because of finances, but because of ministry impact with the goal of gaining favor in the local community. As the ministry grows we will shift to full-time at the church.
If you know anything about Western Montana, you know the scenery, hiking, backpacking, fishing and hunting is world class, but the real estate scene right now is painfully expensive.
