a) The Senior Pastor exercises the oversight of the work and the pastoral care of the flock in accordance with the Scriptures. In this he is first and foremost accountable unto God. As his principal counsel the church will elect from among its members a Board of Deacons to assist him in his calling.
b) The Senior Pastor preaches the Word, has charge of the services, and administers the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
c) The Senior Pastor shepherds the flock on a personal basis as time, energy and gifts will permit.
d) He is an ex officio (non-voting) member of all the boards and committees of the church and a voting member to those boards to which he was directly assigned by the congregation.
e) He will have ultimate responsibility for all ministerial staff and secretaries.
