Job Description

We are a Chinese church located in Cherry Hill, NJ looking for a pastor to lead the English-speaking ministry that includes the youth and adult ministry.

1) Youth Ministry

The immediate need is to lead the existing youth ministry. Helpers and parents are in place and ready to help. Our vision for the youth ministry is threefold:
i) Spiritual: to develop a personal relationship with God;
ii) Relational: to develop a gospel-centered community in which believers love and support one another; and
iii) Instructional: preparing the youth members for the challenges they will face in college (theology and apologetics).

2) Adult Ministry

The vision for the adult ministry is to see people of different ethnic groups come together in worship. We would like to develop the English-speaking ministry into a multi-ethnic ministry. It is a hybrid between church planting and missions with the advantages of not having to raise funds and having a facility (including a basketball court) to start and grow this ministry. The ideal candidate is someone with a pioneering spirit and creativity to start and develop this ministry.

If you are called to church planting or missions or both, please contact us and let us explore God’s calling for you and for our church.

Position Qualifications:

A Master of Divinity degree from an accredited seminary or currently in the Master of Divinity program.
