The Church
BEFC is a rural church with a solid core group, attracting newcomers. At the center of our common life is the Lord Jesus Christ. We seek to bring our lives increasingly under His Lordship … and have found that the `engine’ the Holy Spirit uses to that end is expository preaching. And God has proven faithful as he has been re-shaping our lives into the image of his Son. And as he knits us together.
The Candidate
We are beginning a pastoral transition. Ideally, we will be joined by someone who is not only capable of expository preaching and teaching the Word but who has himself been formed by the Word. And with a pastor’s heart: competent at leading and counseling God’s sheep. Our theological disposition is joyfully Reformed. You will likely have at least 3 – 7 years (post-seminary) experience in a pastoral ministry. We hope to have our new Pastor in place by the third or fourth quarter of 2023.
Compensation
The total package ranges from $65,000-75,000.
