About Our Church
Berachah Bible Church began in 1970 in response to “Bible-believing” churches in Atlanta closing their doors to African Americans. Founding pastor Dr. Howard Dial and several families from a home Bible study longed to see a church established where Bible exposition governed the life of the congregation and developed a biblical view of the deficiencies of our culture. This emphasis is maintained through Bible-based, Christ- centered ministries and worship services which include expository, exegetical Bible teaching/preaching and Christ-honoring singing and prayer. We interpret Scripture
through a literal, dispensational, historical, and grammatical hermeneutic. We believe in a literal, six-day creation.
