July 2010

Week of July 4:

• This week we celebrate the 4th of July; pray that all will enjoy a safe holiday, and will have a restful time reflecting on the freedoms given to us by God. 
• The Gulf oil disaster is still raging, as it has been for the past few months.  Pray for a solution to come quickly, and for all those who are working to put a stop to the spill. 
• Students taking summer classes are currently on break this week.  Pray that this time would be restful!

Week of July 11:

• Pray for the continued struggles in Haiti following spring's deadly earthquake.  Many from Trinity have ministered there in the months since the quake - pray that their ministry efforts would be multiplied and that God would be glorified as those who love Him attempt to aid the hurting in Haiti.
• On July 17, Trinity will be hosting an alumni gathering in Tokyo.  Pray that this time of fellowship will be encouraging and refreshing to all in attendance.

Week of July 18:

• Various members of the TEDS faculty will be participating in an international conference in Tokyo this week, from July 21-23.  Pray for the papers that will be presented, and that the happenings of the conference serve to advance the kingdom.

Week of July 25: 

• Many new and returning students will be making their way to campus next month to begin or continue their time at Trinity.  Pray for them as they prepare for this next chapter!
