Wayne Kijanowski, MDiv

Wayne Kijanowski serves as director of Design for the university and is also an adjunct faculty member for the college, teaching undergraduate-level courses in design, desktop layout, and Adobe Photoshop.

Kijanowski has degrees from Moody Bible Institute, Northeastern Illinois University, and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He has pastored two churches, but his real love is leading small groups and mentoring and collaborating with the university's designers and developing design interns from Trinity and other universities.

His vision for the design group is "to wow" and to accomplish that ad majorem dei gloriam (to the greater glory of God). His goals can be summed up by G.R.O.W.: Grow team (professional and personal development); Raving fans (vs. satisfied clients); Outside-the-box thinking (vs. the way we’ve always done it); and Wow projects.

Along with his director role for the university, Kijanowski keeps fresh by teaming with various studios. Abbott Labs, Loyola University Graduate School, University of Chicago Cancer Research, Thresholds, Lincoln Park Zoo, Desiring God Ministries, Walk in the Word, Unlocking the Bible, Vineyard Ministries International, and the Willow Creek Association are some of his past projects.

Kijanowski is married to his best friend, Janice. He loves his Lord, his family, his friends, and his Apple computer.
