Kent Hansen

Kent joined the Trinity family as Director of Student Ministries in September of 2003, but he is no stranger to the area or the TIU campus. Originally from Arlington Heights, Kent first applied to Trinity in the fall of 1980 but ended up working with Youth With a Mission in India, doing Church planting in Mexico before returning to the area in the early '90s.

Since that time, Kent has completed his BA in Interpersonal and Group Communications through the Trinity REACH program and went on to earn his Masters of Divinity from TEDS in 2000. 

Kent is very excited to bring his experience and vision to Trinity. In His role as Director of Student Ministries, he is looking forward to developing a greater awareness and passion for world missions, while helping people discover God’s presence and purpose in their lives.

Kent, his wife, Brenda, and their three children currently live in Lake Zurich.
