Patrick Gilliam

Patrick Gilliam serves as Athletic Director for the College. He hails from St. Louis, Missouri. He received his Degree in Physical Education, with a Concentration in English, from Judson College in 1991. At Judson, he played soccer all four years and was named All Conference his Junior year.

After graduating, Patrick taught English at Aurora Christian for four years and served as the head boy’s and girl’s soccer coach.

In August of 1996, Patrick came to TIU as the Sports Information Director and Head Men’s Soccer Coach. In 1997, he also became the Head Women’s Soccer Coach. During his time here, he has served as assistant coach for baseball and the Head Men’s Tennis Coach as well.

In 1999 Patrick was named Associate Athletic Director of Operations. That position gave him the background needed to move into his current job as Athletic Director.

Patrick and his wife, Holly, reside in Wheeling and have two children, Ian and Emma.
