Lyle S. Erstad

Lyle S. Erstad serves as Vice President of Institutional and Auxiliary Services at Trinity International University. He has served at Trinity since 1985.

Erstad began his time at Trinity working full-time in the maintenance department while pursing his education part time at the Divinity School. In 1992 he became the Director of Institutional Services and has served in his current position since 1995. Prior to coming to Trinity, he worked in commercial construction. In his current capacity Erstad oversees the Physical Plant, campus construction, Campus Safety & Security, Conference Center, graduate housing, and food service and is the Institution’s liaison to the Village of Bannockburn.

Erstad received his Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern College in Roseville, Minn., and a Masters of Religious Education from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1994.

Erstad and his wife Nancy have four children, Gretchen, David, Anna, and Clarissa. They reside in Palatine, Ill., and are active members at Our Saviour Evangelical Free Church in Wheeling, Ill. Erstad and his family enjoy watching old movies, going for long walks, reading, golf, horseback riding, traveling, and antiquing.
