Wesley L. Anderson, MBA

Wesley L. Anderson is senior advisor to the president and executive vice president at Trinity International University. He has been at Trinity since 1992.

While at Trinity, Anderson has also served as Senior Vice President of Finance, Technology and Business Services; Vice President for Business and Information Services; and Bookstore Director.

Prior to coming to Trinity, Anderson spent 28 years in the chemical industry employed in a variety of managerial and consulting assignments in research, operations, general management, and international businesses. He served as president and chairman of DeSoto, Inc., and was a member of 4 corporate boards in the U.S. and overseas.

Anderson received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University and earned his MBA from the University of Chicago.

Anderson’s areas of expertise include operations, finance, technology, and turnaround management. He has been an active member of Our Saviour Evangelical Free Church in Wheeling, Illinois, for the past 33 years. He served as member and chairman of the Trinity College Board before he became a member of the Trinity staff. 

Anderson and his wife, Jan, reside in Deer Park, Illinois. They have 3 married children, 1 deceased child, and 4 grandchildren. Anderson enjoys travel, golf, fishing, sports, and stamp collecting.
