Orientation Questions Answered

What's Check-In all about?

Check-In is the most efficent way to get all your logistical needs covered. You will get your picture taken for your ID, you will register your car with Campus Safety & Security to receive your parking sticker, you will receive your email and password, your on campus mailbox, and much much more. This would take about two to three hours to do otherwise on your own, so you are really doing yourself a favor. A light breakfast will also be provided.

What do I need to bring to Orientation?

We provide a pen, a binder, and food. Please bring a desire to connect with fellow leaders of the global church, lots of questions about getting the most out of Trinity, and a sense of humor!

What is Computer Resource Training?

GroupWise is the official emailing system here at Trinity. Every student is issued a GroupWise email and password during Check-In. This is also called your Network login and password. You should check your GroupWise email on a daily basis. Your login and password also give you access to educational webpages like Moodle or TIU Access. You will hear about these tools when you come on campus. Many of our professors use Moodle in their classes and TIU Access is used by returning students for Registration and Grade Audits. You can also look up your Academic History. Computer Resource Training will give you an introduction to all these things and help answer any other technology questions you might have about Trinity. Your orientation binder will also include some general information from our IT department.
