Global Christian Week: September 22-26, 2008

What is Global Christian Week?

Global Christian Week is a time when Trinity International University places special focus on God’s heart for the world. As believers, we are called to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts. 1:8). As a result our message and the form of our witness are in constant need of biblical review and renewal.  During this week we hope to inspire, instruct, and reflect upon the biblical mandate to proclaim the gospel to all people. Our world awaits the hope, justice and love of the Gospel. Global Christian Week is an opportunity for TIU as a whole and each of us as individuals to hear God’s heart beat and respond to his call.

How can you participate?

Throughout the week Trinity students will have numerous opportunities to consider short and long term missions. Representatives from missions agencies are invited to participate in this week by stimulating the Trinity community into conversations about missions as well as recruiting for individual job posting for with your organization.

If you have received an invitation letter and registration code, please register on-line. Please feel free to call or email the Student Ministries Office of TIU, (847.317.7030, studentministries@tiu.edu) if you have any questions.

Encouragement

While you are here participating in the Trinity community, the university offers an opportunity for reps to participate in chapel services. It is Trinity’s hope that you will find this time of worship inspiring, refreshing and challenging. There are separate chapel services for the undergraduate and graduate students.
