CostThe estimated cost of this tour is $3,775 per person (based on double occupancy; single occupancy rates are available). Due to current airline policy, it is impossible to receive firm bids this far in advance. The cost stated here is a best estimate based on current prices and probable increases. A cost including airfare will be quoted by September 1, 2007. Any additional fees levied by government authorities or airlines will be charged to participants. Reservations received after Nov. 15, 2007, are subject to availability and a $125 late registration fee. Refund PolicyUntil January 31, 2008, deposits are refundable, less a $175 service fee. Between January 31, 2008, and March 15, 2008, $700 is nonrefundable. Between March 15, 2008, and April 15, 2008, $1,000 is non refundable. After April 15, 2008, no refunds can be given, except in cases of medical emergencies with written authorization, and in compliance with standard Airline refund policies. The price does not include the following:- Personal expenses: passport fees, trip insurance, personal phone calls, laundry service, excess baggage fees, portage, lunches, beverages at most dinners, bottled water, or snacks.

FlemingLois C. Fleming is director of the School of Language, Literature, and Communication, associate professor of English, and chair of the English Department at Trinity International University’s Trinity College. She came to Trinity in 1986 after holding other positions, including director of marketing and assistant director of donor development for MAP International, instructor in cross-cultural communications for International Teams, and music critic for The Natal Mercury in Durban, South Africa, where she was born to missionary parents. Professor Fleming’s areas of expertise include writing, argumentation, presidential rhetoric, opera, and hymnology. This will be her 24th trip to Europe (and a couple to South America along the way) since she started directing Trinity spring break tours in 1992.
