Mr. Robert Kleinschmidt

Bob Kleinschmidt, who attended Trinity from 1976 to 1979, is the recipient of the 2006 Trinity College Alumnus of the Year Award. Bob is currently the Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer for Carlson Companies, Inc., a conglomerate that employs 171,000 employees. Bob has served intermittently on Trinity's Board of Regents since the late 1990s and this past year has served as chairman. Bob is married to Kathy, and they have a ten-year-old son, Drew.
