Alumni Relations to Hire New Associate Director

Alumnus in Need of Marrow DonorTEDS alumnus, Paul Kwon (MDiv '93), is in need of a donor for a bone marrow transplant. In January of this year, he was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML). While he has undergone extensive chemotherapy, he is still in need of a bone marrow transplant. Since neither of his brothers' tissue proved to be a match, he is now looking for a non-relative donor. Asian, specifically Korean, individuals are most likely to be a match, and a simple mouth swab sample is all that is needed to determine donor match. Those interested in becoming a marrow donor for Paul, should contact the National Marrow Donor Program. Alumni Association Scholarship A $1,500 scholarship is awarded each spring to a current college student who is the son or daughter of a Trinity alumnus or alumna. The 2008 scholarship recipient was Naomi Wenzel, daughter of alumna, Rebecca Martin Wenzel (BA '78).
England, Scotland & Wales Trinity Alumni of the Year TEDS Alumnus of the Year 2007
Each year the TEDS Alumnus/Alumna of the Year Award is presented at the Alumni Dinner during the EFCA Leadership Conference. This year the award was given to Reverend Dr. Mel Lawrenz (MDiv '81), Senior Pastor of Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
