Earning the required credit hours to complete a bachelors degree can be an overwhelming task. The EXCEL Advantage is designed to provide you an effective route to complete your college degree by recognizing both your previous college credit and your prior learning. As a working adult, you can receive academic credit from many sources: transfer credit, CLEP, additional general education courses at Trinity, and prior learning. These other credits are combined with your EXCEL program of study to help you obtain the credit hours required to complete your degree. Your EXCEL Advisor will review your individual status and work with you to determine how your prior coursework, training, and learning may apply and help you achieve your unique graduation requirements.

Admissions Made Easy

To enroll in the TIU EXCEL program you need to meet these simple requirements:

  • Two years work, volunteer, or parenting experience*
  • Current full-time employment*
  • Twenty-three years of age or older
  • As few as 15 transferable college credits completed

* Prospective students who do not meet all requirements may appeal for special consideration. Need more information? Ready to dig deeper? As you move through this website, you'll find answers to your questions regarding programs of study, campus locations, and admissions policies and procedures.
