Financial Aid is a source of monetary support provided by
various agencies (federal, state, and local governments, universities,
community organizations, and private corporations or individuals)
to help students meet the cost of attending college. It includes
gift-aid (grants and scholarships) and self-help (loans and
student employment).
Grants are awards based on financial need which do not have
to be repaid.
Scholarships are non repayable awards which may be based
on merit, special talent, and/or financial need.
Student loans are available to students and/or their parents
at low interest rates with the option to defer payment until
after graduation or after the student drops below half-time.
Applying for financial aid is a lengthy process. Your application
will not be reviewed until ALL documents required to complete
the file are received in the Financial Aid Office.
