
How much is tuition?
Every year, tuition increases a small percentage. Please refer to the current catalog for appropriate tuition rates.
How do I register for a Bible course or an elective?
Fill out a Ready-II-EXCEL registration form. Fax to 954-382-6540
Can I take a course outside of TIU?
Yes, but there are limitations. Speak with your advisor before you register. You will also be required to fill out an "approval for an outside course" form. Your advisor must sign off before you regsiter for the course.
How do I know what my subsession is?
Refer to the card give at registration or contact the Record's Office.
What is the deadline for registration?
Regular registration ends 2 weeks prior to a class start date. Seemster registration packets are mailed at the end of each semester. It is suggested for a student to register for all the courses which he/she will be taking for the corresponding semester. However, if additional courses are wanted to be added within the semester, deadlines remain the same (2 weeks prior to the start of a class). Afterwards, late registration will remain for 1 week and a late fee will be assessed. If further information is needed, please contact the Record's Office.
How do I know what courses I am registered for?
After each registration, an SDS (student Data Sheet) is sent as confirmation. This will indicate all the courses you are registered for a particular semester. If you need another SDS, please contact the Record's Office.
How do know what courses I need to take?
Refer to you original assessment. Your assessment will indicate which subject areas you will need in order to graduate. You may also contact your advisor for further details.
How do I write a PLA?
It is strongly advised to attend a PLA workshop prior to writing a PLA. However, if you would like to attempt writing a PLA, click here to read all pertinent information.
When will I get my grades?
Professors will notify you upon completion of each course. Grade reports will be mailed at the end of each semester.
How do I know when I will graduate?
There are three graduation dates a year: May Commencement, August 31, and Mid-December. In order to graduate for one of these dates, an “intent-to-graduate” form must be completed approximately 1 year prior to the intended date. Speak with you advisor for a graduation plan. You can also keep track of your own records by reviewing your assessment and taking the required subject areas.
Can I walk in the ceremony?
All students are welcomed to participate in a Commencement Ceremony. There is only one ceremony a year. Eligibility is granted to students who have completed all degree requirements or have a maximum of 6 credits pending toward their degree. If a student participants in a ceremony with 6 credits pending, the degree will be conferred upon completion of the remaining credits (it will not be the date of the ceremony).
When will I get my diploma ?
Diploma processing takes approximately 10-12 weeks after the expected graduation date. Please contact the Registrar’s office if additional information is needed.
How do I request a transcript?
Fill out a “transcript request form” and fax to 954-382-6540. You may also mail your request with payment to our office at: 8190 West State Road 84 Davie, FL 33324.
What if I need to miss more than one class?
Attendance is critical to complete the EXCEL program. If there is a need to miss a second class night, a withdrawal form must be completed prior to the end of the course. Otherwise, an “F” will be awarded as the final grade.
