IDS 105R Foundations of Adult Learning (3 credits)*
Biblical Studies (6 credits)
(3 credits related to the Old Testament and 3 credits to the New Testament)
Psychology (3 credits)
(General Psychology or Developmental Psychology)
Social Sciences (6 credits)
(Representing at least two of the following fields: Anthropology, Economics and Business, Education, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and Health and Wellness)
Humanities (12 credits)
(Representing at least three of the following fields: Art, English, Speech, Foreign Language, History, Literature, Music, and Philosophy. This requirement may be met through completing HI 101R, 102R, and 103R)
College Writing (6 credits)
Science (3 credits)
(From any of the following: Geology, Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Sciences — must have significant lab or field work component)
Math or Computer Science (3 credits)
(Math must be college algebra or above, Computer Science must be general introduction, not programming)
Intercultural Study (3 credits)
To fulfill the intercultural study requirement, students must give evidence of exposure and sensitivity to diverse cultures. They may accomplish this through any of the following means:
- International study, travel, or internship, with learning documented through a life learning paper
- Domestic intercultural study or work, with learning documented through a life learning paper
- One year of college-level foreign language study
- A college-level course (minimum 3 credits) emphasizing intercultural studies
- The following REACH courses also satisfy the Intercultural Study requirement:

*NOTE: IDS 105R must be completed as the first course in the REACH Program for all incoming, degree-seeking students. During the course, we will assess your writing skills and direct you as to which writing course, if any, must be completed within the first 26 credits of your program.
