Illinois Certification Program
The Illinois Certification Program is for adults who have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and would like to be certified to teach elementary or secondary education.
- You can complete an Elementary Certification Type-03 (K-9) with a Middle School Endorsement. Completion of an initial endorsement is required.
- You can complete a Secondary Certification Type-09 (6-12) with a Middle School Endorsement. Completion of an initial endorsement is required.
