How to prepare
You may feel overwhelmed and anxious about returning to school. Here are a few things you will want to consider as you make this transition.
- Time management and prioritizing is important. You will need to consider how to allocate your time for class attendance and preparation. Be prepared to spend 15-18 hours per week for study.
- Financial commitments will need to be considered. Ensure that you have planned wisely in order to finance your education and elimnate unnecessary stress.
- Computer skills are necessary for your success in college. You will need to be able to use a computer for writing papers, email correspondence, and basic searches on the World Wide Web. Access to a personal computer and the internet is expected.
