Creating a WorldCat / FirstSearch account 

In WorldCat or other FirstSearch databases, you can set up an account to later check your requests. Before placing your request, click on "My Account", located on the upper right portion of the screen, to login or set up your  account.

• If you don't have a FirstSearch account, click on "New User Registration."
• Once you enter the information into this form, you can login and not have to fill in the information below for each item you are requesting.
• You can also click on the "Resource Sharing" tab when logged in to check the status of your requests online.
• Please fill in the following fields:
• Username: This field MUST include your Trinity ID number, so please create a username that looks like this:  tiu555555.
• Password: Must be at least 8 digits and include letters and numbers.
• First Name
• Last Name
• Street Address 1: You Campus Box number only, or home address.
• City: Not needed if you live on Campus
• Email: Your complete Trinity Email address (xxx@tiu.edu), not just your username (we don't send email to other addresses)
• Phone
• To go back to the item you would like to order, click on the "Results" tab.
