Requesting Journal & Magazine Articles Using the EbscoHost Databases

If you need your Username & Password - This is the same as your Trinity email Username/Password. If you don't know it, please contact Information Technology at 847-317-8175 or email ithelpdesk@tiu.edu.

You can access any of the EbscoHost Database from the list of Online Databases.
Once you have completed a search and found an item make sure that Trinity does not own the item.
- First click on the title of the article.
- Items owned by Trinity will have a note at the bottom of the record:
- Notes:Rolfing Library has a current print subscription to this title, check TrinCat for back issues
- You will want to double check that the issue you want is on the shelf. You can do this by clicking on: Check TrinCat for Journal
If you have determined that Trinity does NOT own the item, Check the "Document Type" and make sure that it is not a Book or Essay.

In order to get the item, you will need to fill out the form below. Be sure to fill in the "Date Needed":

Date Needed - This is the Not Needed After Date: This date determines how long your request will remain active and has nothing to do with how quickly you receive it. Give the latest possible date you can still make use of the material.
Please make sure the Article information if completely filled in. If one field is missing (like page numbers), it will take extra time to receive your item, or your request may be refused.

By clicking on [Submit] you are agreeing to comply with the Copyright restrictions.
You will be emailed a copy of this request to help you keep track of what has been ordered.
