- Position Summary
Trinity International University is seeking applications for a full-time, tenure track position in Exercise Science beginning in the 2013-2014 academic year. Qualified candidates please send curriculum vitae and letter of interest to Dr. Jeanette L Hsieh, Dean of the College and Graduate School, Trinity International University, 2065 Half Day Road, Deerfield, IL 60015. Teaching assignments will include courses in physiology of exercise, biomechanics, and functional anatomy and may also include, but not be limited to, courses in health and wellness, and/or exercise testing. The ideal candidate will take a leadership role in the development and supervision of discipline-related fieldwork experiences (individual direct experiences & internal/external internships). The candidate will also advise discipline majors and be expected to take an active role in the campus community. Qualifications include an earned doctorate (ABD considered), superior teaching skills, student-centered approach manifested in teaching and mentoring, and the ability to work collaboratively. Certification as an Athletic Trainer would be a plus (National Athletic Trainers Association, Board Certification).
