Trinity Professors Coauthor Biotechnology and the Human Good

A new book that Dr. Ben Mitchell and Dr. John Kilner, professors of bioethics and contemporary culture at Trinity Graduate School, coauthored with Dr. Edmund Pellegrino, Dr. Jean Bethke Elshtain, and Dr. Scott B. Rae, was released this May by Georgetown University Press.

Brent Waters, director of the Stead Center for Ethics and Values at Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary, calls Biotechnology and the Human Good "a critical analysis and constructive engagement that is informed, astute, and elegant. A must-read for anyone concerned about the prospect of a posthuman future."

Dr. Mitchell and Dr. Kilner's coauthors are significant voices in the bioethics field. Dr. Pellegrino is chairman of the U. S. President's Council on Bioethics. Dr. Elshtain is a professor of social and political ethics at the University of Chicago's divinity school, and Dr. Rae is a professor of biblical studies and Christian ethics at Biola University.
