2007-2008 TEDS Academic Calendar
	This calendar is based on the primary information in the TEDS & TGS Academic Calendar, which is created and published by the Faculty in the TEDS & TGS Catalogs.  The calendar below has been established by the University Registrar, and lists specific dates and deadlines for registration, adding/dropping classes, etc.  Reference should be made to the current catalogs, Academic Handbook, or to the Intranet Academic Calendar for specific dates and deadlines for comprehensive exams, special seminars, University events, and lectures.  NOTE: Tuition and fee assessment deadlines and financial aid deadlines are published in the Catalogs and may be independent from academic deadlines.
	Late Registration Policy -- Courses may be added or dropped without academic penalty during the first 10 days of classes (in the case of semester-length courses) or the equivalent (the first week of Quad-length courses, or the first day of all short-term/modular courses).  After this Late Registration Period, the Course Withdrawal Policy applies.
	Course Withdrawal Policy -- After the Late Registration Period of a course, a student may Withdraw from a course during the first 50% of class meetings (e.g. during the first seven weeks of a semester-length course; during the first five days of a ten-day course, etc.) with the assignment of a W to the grade report.  No hours or grades are calculated as attempted.  Course withdrawals after this Withdrawal Period result in the administrative assignment of an "F" grade.
