Hospitality Information
We look forward to welcoming you to Trinity as you establish a new “home” after leaving friends and family in your country. Prior to your leaving your country we attempt to connect you with other students—former or present—from your area of the world and with regional group leaders. Along with your I-20 documents we include information to help prepare you for the changes you will have when coming to the States regarding culture shock, living in the U.S., and other transition information.
We also provide other ways to help you transition to your new surroundings. If you need aiprort pickup, we will make arrangements for a friendly face to be there to welcome you. We also arrange transitional services as you move into a dormitory room or an apartment and will connect you with a Host Family to assist you.
We also provide a Furniture Room where we you may pick up donated household items such as furniture, linens, dishes, pots and pans, etc. as you set up your home during your Trinity years.
You may also pick up free clothing for you and your immediate family, food items, and other household items at the Clothes Horse. The Clothes Horse is open daily, and is located on-campus.
