MDiv Curriculum

The program curriculum that follows stipulates the required course work; however, graduates of Bible colleges and Christian liberal arts colleges should plan their course work so as not to repeat work done on an undergraduate level. Program modifications may be requested in two ways:

  • Students with undergraduate hours beyond the normal bachelor’s degree (126 semester hours) may request evaluation of their undergraduate transcripts by the Records Office for advanced standing toward MDiv course work. Consult the Admissions section of the Catalog or the Academic Handbook for details.

  • Students who have taken course work as part of their undergraduate degree that would be repeated in their master’s program, are encouraged to build on their previous studies by requesting permission to substitute advanced courses in the same department. Such substitutions are granted, without examination, in consultation with the faculty advisor. Consult the Admissions section of the catalog or the Academic Handbook for details.
