Trinity Increases Financial Aid for Graduate Students

Trinity is committed to providing resources to help you deal with the cost of a quality graduate education. We have recently increased our financial aid substantially to make Trinity even more affordable, both for full-time and part-time students:

• More than 30% Increase in Financial Aid Awarded

Institutional financial aid awarded to students will increase by about $350,000 to more than $1,500,000 for the 2006-2007 school year.

• Triple the Number of Half-tuition Scholarships

Trinity has tripled the number of half-tuition scholarships available to top students in our master's degree programs.

• New Part-time Financial Aid

Part-time graduate students (taking less than 10 hours per semester) are now eligible for institutional financial aid. Combined with the new one-day-per-week schedule for most classes, a TEDS/TGS education is now much more attainable for a broader range of people.

• Multicultural Development Scholarships

The Multicultural Development Scholarship promotes the Trinity core value of Community by awarding a limited number of $2000 scholarships to U.S. citizens or Permanent Residents who represent multicultural backgrounds or experiences.  Students must submit a 300-500 word type-written essay to the Financial Aid Office indicating how his or her own multicultural experiences in life will contribute to the community at Trinity.

Note: Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is only required for students interested in student loans or in working on campus. The FAFSA is not required for the financial aid options listed above.
