TEDS/TGS Residence Life
Our mission is to facilitate a community learning environment that fosters the wellness of the whole person. We do this by:
-

Maintaining a living and learning environment which allows for proper sleep and study and promotes relationships in clean, safe, and comfortable facilities.
-
Anticipating and assessing the various needs of residential students and addressing them through residential and campus-wide programming in order to facilitate growth of the whole person, giving preference to the areas of academics, relationships, physical, emotional, and mental health, and spiritual formation.
-
Providing discipline that seeks to be biblical with the immediate goal being restoration and its ultimate goal being maturity in the lives of everyone involved.
-
Being a place that provides, orients, and refers students to appropriate campus and community resources, opportunities, and services.
-
Promoting an awareness of responsible community living by creating standards that encourage mutual respect and healthy interaction that students will carry with them throughout life.
The Residence Life staff provides opportunities for residents to connect with one another through meals, times of prayer, and other activities. Signs are posted in the housing areas to inform residents of these events.
Residents are expected to follow the guidelines established in the Student Guide and to comply with the terms specified in their lease with the Housing Office.
