Summer 2008 Recommendations

Greek

Incoming MDiv students with no biblical Greek background are encouraged to begin and complete Greek language studies (NT 4030-4031) in the summer, enabling them to begin Greek exegesis courses in the fall semester. Those with completed Greek, or in other master’s programs, will shorten their program load or duration by completing some summer course work. Taking your first year of Greek as summer intensive courses not only gets two of your hardest courses out of the way efficiently but also allows you to take classes with a Greek prerequisite a year earlier.

NT 4038 is designed for new MDiv students with a minimum of one year of biblical Greek and meets the prerequisite for beginning MDiv Greek exegesis courses.

If you are an MDiv student with any Greek background, you can meet the prerequisite undergrad Greek requirement by completing NT 4030-4031. Then you may register for graduate Greek exegesis in the fall. If you have a minimum of one year of Greek, you can register for NT 4038 Greek Review. Beat your Greek requirement and jump ahead in your MDiv!
