Doug came on staff as a Graduate Admissions Counselor in October of 2008 while finishing up coursework for the PhD in Theological Studies at TEDS. He primarily works with Doctoral (PhD and DMin), Masters of Theology, and Masters of Arts programs (Church History, New Testament, Old Testament and Semitic Languages, Biblical and Near Eastern Archaeology and Languages, Philosophy of Religion, Christian Thought, History of Christianity in America) applicants.
Doug hails from the great state of Texas* where he attended Baylor University (BA-Business Administration) and George W. Truett Theological Seminary (MDiv). Doug's theological interests lie in the areas of practical theology, sanctification, the history of Fundamentalism/Evangelicalism, pastoral care during the Reformation, and discipleship. He is currently researching all things Dawson Trotman and Navigators related.
When he is not working, writing, or reading, Doug can be found spending time with his bride, Natalie, playing guitar, watching funny movies from the 1990s, drinking hot tea, and chatting it up with his church community. |
