Next Steps After Acceptance
So what do you do now? Here are some links that will help you transition into the Trinity community.
Reserve Your Spot / Register for Classes
- After you have received your acceptance letter, submit your Notice of Intention by either sending in the enclosed card of filling it out online.
- Approximately one week after submitting the Notice of Intention, request your login and password to My Trinity which will provide access to important information and resources such as syllabi, course schedules, and academic advising. To request your password and login email gwhelp@tiu.edu and include your Student ID number, full legal name, birth date, and last four digits of your Social Security number.
- After you have done this, you will be given access to MyTrinity.
- You will be able to register for classes online through MyTrinity. If you will be starting classes in the fall semester, you will also be given access to register for classes during the preceding summer.

Before receiving MyTrinity access, you can view course schedules here. Within MyTrinity, you will be able to see full schedules and look at syllabi as they are posted.

- Consider housing (on campus | off campus)
- Find out about jobs (full-time on campus | part-time on campus | off campus)
- Explore summer classes to get a jump-start on your degree
- Research financial aid opportunities and fill out the FAFSA
- Examine the Student Health Insurance option if you wish to be covered through Trinity
New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation (NSO) provides an opportunity to get to know Trinity when you arrive, as well as easily take care of a number of necessities for new students all at once.
