Trinity Evangelical Divinity School is a learning community dedicated to the development of servant leaders for the global church - leaders who are spiritually, biblically, and theologically prepared to engage contemporary culture for the sake of Christ’s kingdom.
Interpret Scripture faithfully so that you can teach it. Learn how to articulate the Christian faith so that you can defend it. Understand the over-arching story of the Bible so that you can preach it. Penetrate the tension points between the Bible and today’s culture so that your voice will be a prophetic one. Trinity offers you an excellent education not for its own sake, but for the sake of who God has called you to be. In all of our programs, we seek to combine the theoretical and the practical, the pastoral and the intellectual. You will learn not only from lectures but from experiences built into the programs and from a community of students learning with you. We prepare you rigorously in every aspect of your education, because we know that you graduate from Trinity to the front lines of Christian ministry.
Trinity has regional centers in Davie, Florida and Dolton (South Chicago), Illinois and Extension Sites in the following locations:
Akron, OH
Madison, WI
Columbus, OH
Milwaukee, WI
Indianapolis, IN
We also offer a host of online courses through Distance Education.
You can receive Trinity graduate credit for School of Leadership Courses, including: New Staff Training courses, School of Leadership core courses, the Leadership Development Project, and some ministry skills training as Practical. This course work may be applied toward the free electives in all programs, or limited electives in the applicable programs. All you need to do is submit the one-page special Visiting Student Application form before you can earn Trinity credit for these courses. You can combine your staff training with ongoing Distance Education classes on line and, if you are close to any of our extension site locations, with ongoing extension classes moving you ever closer to completing a theological degree at Trinity without having to leave ministry. See a suggested path to degree completion.
For CCC full-time staff courses taken on Trinity’s Deerfield campus, Crusade full-time staff merit a 50% reduction in the per hour tuition pricing. This applies to full-or part-time students. Crusade staff who want to enjoy the convenience of classes at one of Trinity’s extension site will find tuition rates already at least 50% below those on the Deerfield campus.
Taking staff training courses for Trinity credit is simple, but it requires some important steps.
