Dr. Te-Li Lau is assistant professor of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He earned his BS and MS at Stanford University, his MDiv and ThM at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and his PhD at Emory University.
Before pursuing theological studies, Dr. Lau served in the Singapore military for two and a half years and worked in Silicon Valley for ten years, obtaining several patents in the field of computer engineering. He taught New Testament Greek at Singapore Bible College, TEDS, and Emory University. His dissertation title is "The Politics of Peace: Ephesians, Dio Chrysostom, and the Confucian Tradition." Dr. Lau is a member of the Society of Biblical Literature and the Evangelical Theological Society, and his current research interests include the Gospels, Pauline studies, and comparative analysis of sacred texts.
