Judy A. Dabler

Judy Dabler is instructor of Counseling at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Prior to her appointment at Trinity, Prof. Dabler was visiting instructor in Practical Theology at Covenant Theological Seminary.

 

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri, her Master of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary, and her Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Educational Studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

 

Prof. Dabler is founder and president of Live at Peace Ministries, a counseling and reconciliation ministry headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Christian ConciliatorTM with the Institute for Christian ConciliationTM, a division of Peacemaker® Ministries.

 

She travels nationally and internationally to teach and train others in counseling and mediation, provide intensive mediation services for marital, family, church, and organizational conflicts, and consult with churches and ministries seeking to establish counseling and reconciliation centers. Prof. Dabler’s international ministry has taken her to Ghana, Hungary, New Zealand, and Tanzania.

Some of her publications include Conflict or Shalom? (Covenant, 2006) and Peacemaking Women (Baker, 2005). Prof. Dabler is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Professor Dabler and her husband, Jim, have two children in college. She currently resides in both St. Louis and Deerfield.
