Chicago Libraries

The main campus of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School is located in Deerfield, Illinois, about 45 minutes north of Chicago and about an hour south of Milwaukee. Greater Chicago and southern Wisconsin is home to world-class archives and libraries. Some would say that the collection of Christian and theological materials is second in size only to the Vatican.

Rolfing Memorial Library

Rolfing Library contains nearly 200,000 books and over 43,000 journals, magazines, and newspapers, including almost 1000 subscriptions.

 
Regular Library Hours
      Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. - midnight
  Friday 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
  Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
  Sunday 1:00 p.m. - midnight

I-Share

Students of Trinity can borrow books from 71 other academic libraries in Illinois through I-Share.

 

TEDS students have privileges at all members of the Association of Chicago Theological Schools (ACTS).  For schools not in I-Share, students can pick up a special ACTS card at the Reference Desk in Rolfing in order to check out books at these schools. 

 

For local libraries not in ACTS or I-Share, an InfoPass can be picked up at the Reference Desk that will grant you onsite access to library materials.
