Mr. Peter Etienne (BA '85)

Peter Etienne is Senior Counsel, Baxter International Inc., focusing primarily on Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) matters. He serves as a member of Baxter's EHS Leadership Team and is part of the Ethics and Compliance department at Baxter. Mr. Etienne received his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law and his undergraduate degree from Trinity College (BA '85). He is currently the chairperson of the EHS Legal Council of the Conference Board (NY) and also serves as vice chair of the American Bar Association, Section of Energy, Environment and Resources. Peter served as a member of the Board of Regents at Trinity for about ten years and is chair of the Board of Trustees of The Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity. Mr. Etienne lives in Lake Zurich, Illinois, with his wife, Marci, and children Kaitlyn, Brian, and Hannah. The Etiennes attend Harvest Bible Chapel in Lake Zurich.
